Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Final Assembly Inspector to perform hands-on inspection in a production environment, supporting the build and test of missiles while applying lean manufacturing concepts. You will interpret drawings, use calibrated equipment, and ensure dimensional accuracy with attention to detail.

Preferred candidates hold US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance and can work independently.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

As a Final Assembly Inspector, you will work hands‑on in a production setting and utilize lean manufacturing concepts to assess assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro‑mechanical systems. This position be supporting the build and test of missiles.

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to interpret product specifications, drawings/blueprints
• Able to use calibrated inspection equipment to validate dimensions or features
• Basic Computer/MS Office skills/look up specifications/military standards
• Effective written and communication skills
• Can work independently/self motivated
• Demonstrate attention to detail
• High School degree or equivalent
• Must be a US Citizen and the ability to obtain a Security Secret Clearance

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP software
• VECAMS experience
• Inspection/QA experience
• GD&T experience
• Experience supporting test and/or product acceptance
• Missile or flight vehicle experience

Pay Information

Full‑Time Salary Range: $57800.00 - $107400.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non‑represented full‑time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full‑time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
