Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Dallas, TX is seeking an Inspection Supervisor to lead the Mechanical Quality Inspection team on 2nd shift, ensuring product integrity and conformance to milestones.

You will oversee a crew of non-exempt inspectors, handle recruitment and evaluations, and drive continuous improvement while safeguarding quality and compliance in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's level STEM degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Experience in manufacturing/production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with MES/ERP/MRP and factory management software including data entry and reporting.
  • Ability to develop and apply quantitative metrics to drive data-driven decisions and improvements.

You will be the Inspection Supervisor for the Mechanical Quality Inspection team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product integrity, meeting critical production milestones, validating product conformance, and driving continuous improvement.

This position is in Dallas. Discover more about our Dallas, Texas location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications
  • STEM degree at Bachelor's level or above or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
  • Hands‑on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems, ERP, MRP, or other factory‑management software – including configuration, data entry, and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, track, and apply quantitative metrics to influence data‑driven decision making and process improvement
Desired Skills
  • STEM degree at Bachelor's level or above preferred
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance/Inspection concepts
  • Experience operating in a unionized environment and familiarity with collective‑bargaining agreements
  • Knowledge of quality‑assurance and inspection methodologies, including AS9100 and other aerospace standards
  • Familiarity with LockheedMartin corporate policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated customer‑relationship management skills
  • Strong communication, team‑building, and full‑spectrum leadership abilities
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
