Job summary

Lockheed Martin in New York state is seeking a skilled inspector to support all phases of assembly and manufacturing. You will read blueprints, interpret specifications, and use basic measuring tools to verify continuity of assemblies and parts.

You will complete paperwork, document discrepancies, and follow procedures to prevent damage to equipment. Experience with manufacturing and quality processes and knowledge of FAI per AS9102 are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Reads and interprets blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications. Uses basic measuring equipment and instruments to continuity check various assemblies/details parts. Uses understanding of basic workmanship acceptance criteria on the production floor. Completes all paperwork/documentation associated with the aforementioned inspection functions and document all types of errors or discrepancies found. Follows established procedures and precautions in the prevention of damage to equipment and/or material. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager as directed.

Pay Information

Pay rate for this position is $22.64 - $37.74 per hour.

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
