Job summary

Yahoo is seeking an Insights Lead to steer commercial insights, develop market narratives, and bridge complex data with executive sales execution. You will apply AI-assisted workflows to accelerate synthesis, validate findings, and craft compelling assets for key client verticals.

You will collaborate with Ad Sales, Go-to-Market, BI and data teams, translating signals into repeatable, self-serve insights tools that support enterprise growth and differentiated Yahoo advertising solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years in consumer insights, media analytics, or market research with customer-facing, consultative expertise in digital advertising, media/pub/agency ecosystems.
• Proven track record leading consultative research initiatives supporting enterprise sales, client growth, or brand marketing strategies.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI platforms and prompting to speed research synthesis, summaries, or workflow automation.
• Strong proficiency with digital advertising measurement, audience segmentation, and syndicated market research tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Ad Sales and Go-to-Market Strategy teams to gather insights needs about industries, audiences and media trends to inform sales narratives and client pitches.
• Apply data collection methods using quantitative methodologies: data mining, analytics, and primary/secondary research.
• Formulate and execute quantitative/qualitative research, identify consumer trends by mining Yahoo first-party data; leverage syndicated tools for audience sizing and profiling.
• Identify and implement AI-assisted workflows to rapidly analyze, summarize, and cross-reference multi-source industry research.
• Architect repeatable AI-augmented templates and self-serve resources for sales teams to answer complex vertical questions.
• Collaborate with BI and Data Engineering to define automated reporting pipelines, client dashboards, and advanced attribution tools.
• Translate complex data into visually compelling executive presentations, collateral, and external industry case studies.
