Job summary

Lam Research is seeking an Insider Risk Analyst to help manage investigations and build out insider risk capabilities. You will analyze anomalous user activities, support incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to detect patterns and improve controls.

The role involves log analysis, playbook maintenance, and educating stakeholders on data-sharing importance. The position requires 3+ years in insider risk, strong analytical skills, and experience with UEBA, UAM, and DLP tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Counterintelligence, or a related field.
• 3+ years of Insider Risk experience.
• Experience conducting Insider Risk investigations and providing analysis beyond alert triage.
• Ability to interpret system, network, and application logs and identify anomalies.
• Proficiency with security tools, including UEBA, UAM, and DLP platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive triage, investigation, and support management of insider risk cases.
• Identify, collect, and analyze indicators from a variety of sources.
• Coordinate investigation and mitigation strategies with Insider Risk team’s management and colleagues.
• Leverage analytical and technical skills to identify patterns and trends and improve detective and preventive controls.
• Perform log analysis and coordinate event queries across enterprise systems.
• Operationalize and maintain processes and playbooks for insider risk analysis.
• Educate stakeholders on data sharing to protect the business.
• Ensure investigative findings are documented.
• Support process improvement initiatives and provide project support for the Insider Risk program.
• Respond to ad-hoc requests from management and stakeholders.
