Job summary

Lam Research is seeking an Insider Risk Security Engineer to advance its insider risk program and capabilities. You will drive tooling requirements, implement IRM tech, and support incidents with key stakeholders across IT, HR, and Legal.

The role emphasizes risk detection, advanced analytics, and collaboration to protect Lam and its customers from insider threats, while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT, counterintelligence, or related field.
• 5+ years as a security engineer, familiar with DLP and UEBA tools.
• Experience implementing, troubleshooting, and administering insider risk and DLP tech in a global enterprise.
• Cloud security experience with cloud-based applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain IRM technologies, policies, and rules across Lam.
• Collaborate with InfoSec and cross-functional partners to refine policies.
• Fine-tune IRM and DLP rules to minimize false positives and mature the function.
• Serve as escalation point and provide guidance to colleagues.
• Contribute to management reporting with insights on IRM performance.
