Job summary

Lam Research is seeking an Insider Risk Security Engineer to manage insider risk and build out our IRM capabilities. You will drive tooling requirements, tune DLP/IRM rules, and support incidents with cross-functional partners across IT, HR, Legal, and Cybersecurity Engineering.

The role emphasizes confidential handling of sensitive data, proactive risk assessment, and collaboration to detect anomalous events. Prior experience in a global enterprise and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
• 5+ years as a security engineer with DLP/UEBA experience.
• Proven experience implementing Insider Risk and DLP in a global enterprise.
• Experience with cloud security and cloud-based apps.
• Strong problem solving and independent work capabilities.
• Excellent communication across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain IRM technologies, policies, and rules.
• Collaborate with InfoSec, IT, HR, and Legal to align policies.
• Fine-tune IRM and DLP rules to reduce false positives and mature the program.
• Serve as escalation point for colleagues and collaborators.
• Contribute to regular management reporting on IRM performance.
