Job summary

Lam Research is seeking an Insider Risk Security Engineer to drive insider risk capabilities, develop IRM tooling, and support incidents with cross‑functional teams. The role emphasizes protecting Lam and customer data against negligent and malicious insider activity, including implementing, troubleshooting, and refining DLP/UEBA environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, cybersecurity, information security, IT, counterintelligence or related discipline.
5+ years of experience as a security engineer with DLP/UEBA tooling familiarity.
Experience implementing, troubleshooting, and administering Insider Risk and DLP technologies in a global enterprise.
Experience with cloud security and cloud-based applications.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain IRM technologies, policies, and rules across Lam.
Collaborate with InfoSec and cross‑functional partners to align IRM with Lam’s infrastructure.
Fine‑tune IRM and DLP rules to minimize false positives and improve capabilities.
Serve as escalation point for colleagues and collaborators on insider risk matters.
Contribute to management reporting and IRM ecosystem metrics.
