Job summary

Lam Research is seeking an Insider Risk Security Engineer to safeguard Lam and customer data by strengthening insider risk capabilities. You will drive tooling for anomalous user activity, assist during incidents, and partner with cross-functional teams to advance IRM.

This role focuses on insider risk and human-risk compromise, not external cybersecurity incident response, requiring strong analytical and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years as a security engineer with DLP/UEBA experience.
• Experience implementing insider risk and DLP in a global enterprise.
• Cloud security experience.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work ability.
• Excellent cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain IRM technologies, policies, and rules across Lam.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity Eng, IT, HR and Legal to align policies.
• Fine-tune IRM and DLP rules to reduce false positives.
• Serve as escalation point for colleagues and collaborators.
• Contribute to regular management reporting on IRM performance.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, Counterintelligence, or related discipline
