Flow Control Group is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to service a diverse industrial customer base, recommend solutions, support outside sales, and manage quotes and customer orders from entry to shipment.

The role centers on valve and instrumentation lines, requiring product knowledge or a strong mechanical aptitude, and a proactive, customer-friendly approach to sales support.

Qualifications

• Summary/Objective: Inside Sales Representative will provide service to our clients, recommend solutions to a varied industrial customer base, support outside sales, generate quotes and manage customer orders from entry to shipment.
• The primary focus will be managing our valve and instrumentation product lines. Knowledge of product and / or a strong mechanical aptitude a must.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and cultivate positive customer relationships.
• Provide price and availability on any standard or specialty item directly to customers.
• Take and solicit orders from customers over the phone and via email.
• Process order, via order entry system, from our stock or directly source from suppliers.
• Follow up on orders to assure critical deliveries.
• Resolve any order problems related to delivery or paperwork issues directly with customer and suppliers.
• Handle all inquiries/contacts in a professional manner.
• Work in concert with our outside sales team; funnel leads/opportunities to the sales team.
• Resolve product issues or determine product needs over the phone or via email.
