Ernst Instruments, a long‑standing distributor and manufacturer based in Sparta, NJ, seeks an Inside Sales professional to match products to customer needs and prepare winning proposals. You will coordinate with multiple departments and manage quotations, pricing, and orders in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong English communication, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to read and respond to customer requirements with accuracy.

Competenze

• Requires High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Strong interpersonal, listening, consultative and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop or similar.

Mansioni

• Develop thorough understanding of Ernst Instruments products and solutions.
• Review customer requirements to determine best product fit.
• Create customer proposals compliant with standards and contracts language.
• Prepare configurations, equipment lists, clarifications and exceptions.
• Serve as customer contact for quotations, pricing, scheduling and shipping.
• Coordinate expediting with other departments to ensure pricing, delivery and invoicing accuracy.
• Enter orders into the system.
• Make pricing decisions based on standards.
• Interact with all levels of staff, suppliers, customers and peers.
• Follow company policies, quality standards and work instructions.
• Assist with special projects as needed by GM or Sales Manager.
