Job summary

Triangle Fastener Corporation in New Castle, DE is seeking a detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to serve as the first contact for walk-in, phone, and email inquiries. You will support both customers and the Outside Sales team by managing quotes, orders, and day-to-day service to keep projects on track.

You should be customer-focused with strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. The role offers a pathway for growth within Sales, Operations, and Management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in sales-based customer service or related position.
• Prefer 3+ years in inside sales or similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn company software (CSD).

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate customer quotes via phone, email, and walk-ins.
• Handle walk-in sales and guide customers through product selections.
• Enter and process orders with speed and accuracy.
• Coordinate with warehouse to meet stock levels and demand.
• Schedule deliveries and provide updates to customers.
• Support Outside Sales by handling backend processes and follow-ups.
• Maintain a clean showroom and promote featured products.
• Resolve customer issues proactively and professionally.
• Prepare and send product samples, catalogs, and credit applications.
• Review open sales reports and ensure data integrity.
• Pull counter orders to ensure timely service.
• Collaborate daily with Branch Operations Manager and sales staff.
