Job summary

Standex Electronics EDGE Business Unit is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support the field sales team, manufacturers’ reps, and customers from our Fairfield, OH office, with an option to work remotely one day per week.

You will manage key accounts, collaborate across departments, provide quotations, and help grow new business in a dynamic industrial electronics environment. A customer-focused, organized communicator with technical aptitude will thrive.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, engineering, or related field.
• Proven inside sales/account management or customer service in B2B engineered products environment.
• Basic understanding of electrical/electronic components, automation, or industrial equipment.
• Excellent phone and written communication skills; ability to handle high volume of calls and emails.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of accounts; maintain regular contact to understand customer needs and buying cycles.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Service for a seamless experience.
• Establish profitable pricing levels and quoting projects in collaboration with internal/external teams.
• Support customers through the order process to ensure satisfaction and coordinate customer service for accounts.
• Understand product specs to recommend solutions and cross-sell/upsell related products.
• Support distributors with pricing, product info, and sales tools.
• Provide technical and commercial quotations for industrial electronics products.
