Job summary

Electrical Now is seeking a sales and customer support professional to handle inquiries, manage sales leads, and convert opportunities into billable sales. The role emphasizes timely communication by phone, email, and other channels.

The ideal candidate will source new products, negotiate prices, check inventory, and work cross-functionally to ensure customer satisfaction and accurate order processing in a fast-paced call center environment.

Qualifications

• Must understand the sales cycle; ability to understand the Electrical Now sales cycle.
• Strong computer skills; ability to learn and understand Electrical Now computer systems to perform job tasks in an automated environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email or other means at Electrical Now.
• Manage sale opportunities and convert them into billable sales.
• Source new products from manufacturers not currently supplied by Electrical Now.
• Negotiate best purchase price for new products.
• Check inventory and fulfill orders from stock when possible.
• Communicate with customers in a timely, professional manner.
• Enter quotations and orders into sales order systems with accurate delivery and payment terms.
• Meet daily quote and sales output targets.
• Build and update customer records in the sales system.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet customer commitments.
• Maintain pricing and product data in pricetool and related systems.
• Assist in database cleanup and ongoing maintenance.
• Develop new business through outbound calls and other leads.
