Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America\u2019s largest supplier of building materials, is hiring an Inside Sales Associate to assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, pricing, and availability. You will generate quotes, enter orders, and coordinate delivery to keep projects on track.

You will actively sell BFS products, provide accurate takeoffs and pricing for large packages, and help identify new customers while maintaining strong service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection, pricing, and availability.
• Provide quotes and estimates; enter orders into the system.
• Schedule production and delivery of orders with store operations.
• Identify opportunities to expand business with current customers.
• Troubleshoot order processing issues to maintain satisfaction.
• Support training for less experienced Inside Sales Representatives.
• Keep work area organized and manage inventory as needed.
• Stay updated on product developments and safety procedures.
