Job summary

O'Neal Steel in Shelbyville, IN is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to identify new customer opportunities and manage existing accounts. You will coordinate internal resources, provide quotes, and drive growth through consultative selling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of previous sales experience. Steel Industry preferred.
• Must possess strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Aggressive, competitive, and self-motivated attitude.
• Detail oriented.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or the equivalent in training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the internal account coordinator for assigned accounts.
• Develop new accounts and implement plans for growth in existing accounts.
• Consultative selling and closing skills.
• Develop and maintain product and industry knowledge.
• Provide quotes and follow up, order entry into the order fulfillment system to initiate the sales/distribution process.
• Coordinate with appropriate departments to resolve customer complaints and ensure timely delivery.
