Job summary

Rexel USA, Inc. in Maryland Heights, MO is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive proactive inside sales and marketing efforts. You will build and maintain customer relationships, process quotes and orders, and expand growth within the customer base.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years in customer service/sales and strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a team and handle overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience
• High School or GED - Required

Responsibilities

• Work Hours: 7am - 4pm.
• Process telephone orders by quoting product prices, delivery specs, and payment terms.
• Assist outside sales personnel by processing priority transactions.
• Utilize company digital tools to sell, market, promote, demonstrate products, and answer technical questions.
• Prospect for new accounts within a specified geographical territory.
• Manage a defined customer base and establish and maintain customer relationships.
• Learn and evaluate customer operations to aid in identifying objectives and requirements; Close orders and resolve issues with root-cause analysis.
• Process quotations/proposals and provide follow up throughout purchasing cycle.
• Report to management on pricing, products, and market trends.
• Participate in product meetings and training to maintain product knowledge.
• Pursue product applications using internal resources and vendor reps.
