Job summary

Echo Electric in Lincoln, NE is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to grow our market share by nurturing client relationships and delivering outstanding service.

You will provide product information, quotes, and timely order processing while collaborating with a cross-functional team to hit sales targets in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with sales/marketing coursework or equivalent on the job experience.
• At least two years of sales, electrical or distribution experience and/or product knowledge.
• Commitment to high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions/calculations.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, including an ability to plan and manage multiple priorities.
• Proven attentiveness to detail with problem analysis and resolution skills.
• Ability to sit and/or alternate between sitting and standing at will.
• Ability to use a keyboard to enter text or data into a computer.
• Ability to speak to express or exchange ideas and convey detailed spoken instructions.
• Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
• Clarity of vision ability of approximately 20 inches or less.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and recommend appropriate electrical products or solutions.
• Provide product information, pricing, and quotes to clients by phone and email.
• Enters, tracks, bills, and expedites orders, including backorders and vendor POs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and implement strategies.
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure seamless order processing.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments.
• Participate in training to gain product knowledge.
