Carter Lumber Company is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to be the face of the store, delivering friendly customer service and product guidance to homeowners and builders alike.

You will provide product information, generate estimates, process transactions, and follow up on quotes. You’ll support Outside Sales Reps, participate in inventory cycles, and enjoy unlimited commission potential with a growth-oriented, people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers who walk in and provide product information and advice.
• Process transactions and generate estimates for packages/projects.
• Follow up on online customer quotes and qualify new leads via cold calling.
• Support Outside Sales Reps as needed and assist in inventory counts.
• Resolve overages/shortages through regular cycle counts and stock control.
