Job summary

North Star JCB in West Chicago, IL is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support our machine sales coverage. You will be the primary liaison between North Star JCB and customers, handling inquiries, presenting equipment solutions, and driving orders.

This role blends high-energy sales with attentive service in an office and occasional shop setting. You’ll stay current on product knowledge, manage CRM records, and collaborate with operations to ensure on-time deliveries and customer

Qualifications

• Inside sales experience of 2+ years in equipment sales or rental.
• Proven inside sales experience in equipment industry.
• Strong customer service and customer-centric approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Proficient with CRM software and MS Office.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and build relationships with customers.
• Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries.
• Respond to inquiries by phone and email.
• Make outbound calls to prospects and existing customers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend equipment solutions.
• Provide product information, features, pricing.
