Job summary

TriStar JCB in Tennessee seeks an Outside Sales Representative to support machine sales coverage and elevate customer satisfaction. You will act as the primary liaison between TriStar JCB and customers, handling inquiries, promoting products, and closing sales on a field-based basis.

The ideal candidate has sales experience with strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach, able to work independently and as part of a team, while leveraging CRM systems and MS Office to stay

Qualifications

• 2+ years inside/outside sales support or related experience in equipment sales/rental preferred.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with commercial and consumer finance.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and build relationships with customers in assigned accounts.
• Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries, provide product information, and close sales.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, in person, and email.
• Make outbound visits to prospective and existing customers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend equipment solutions.
• Provide detailed product information, including features, benefits, and pricing.
• Prepare and process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Follow up on quotes and leads to convert them into sales.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure timely delivery of equipment.
• Maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Handle complaints professionally and elevate issues when needed.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and accurate CRM records.
• Provide regular sales updates to management.
• Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
