Job summary

TriStar JCB currently has an opening for an Outside Sales Representative to support our machine sales coverage. This field-based role serves as the primary liaison between TriStar JCB and the customer, driving sales and building strong relationships with customers in the industry.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of inside/outside sales support and/or parts/service sales experience preferably in equipment sales or rental.
• Strong customer service skills and a customer-centric approach.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and build strong relationships with customers in the industry.
• Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries, provide product information, and close sales.
• Respond to sales inquiries via phone, in person, and email.
• Make outbound customer visits to prospective and existing customers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions.
• Provide detailed product information, including features, benefits, and pricing.
• Prepare and process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Follow up on quotes and leads to convert them into sales.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of equipment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers; handle complaints professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
• Provide regular sales updates to management.
• Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
