Job summary

Deering Lumber, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, seeks an Inside Sales Representative in Maine. You will assist with new and existing customer sales, provide product support to outside sales reps, and prepare quotes and product dimension information both in person and by phone.

The role emphasizes customer service, order entry, and coordination of deliveries with a pay range of $26.00 to $28.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of building material experience preferred.
• 1–3 years inside sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, orders, prices, and deliveries.
• Initiate calls to customers to generate sales.
• Enter orders and handle related paperwork and pricing.
• Coordinate purchases and delivery of special products.
• Manage project schedules with sales teams and customers.
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and stockroom.
• Research credits, returns, and late payments as needed.
• Resolve back orders and billing issues; support pricing.
