Job summary

Ridout Lumber and Meek's, divisions of US LBM Holdings, LLC, seeks an Inside Sales Representative to assist with new and existing customer sales and provide product support to outside sales reps. This role handles quotes and product dimensions in person and over the phone.

You will initiate calls to generate sales, enter orders and service requests, coordinate deliveries, maintain stock levels, resolve billing issues, and develop professional relationships with customers, while upholding safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years in building material industry with basic product knowledge.
• 1-3 years inside sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries on product selection, orders, prices and quotations, complaints, and scheduling of deliveries and installations.
• Initiate calls to customers to generate sales.
• Enter work orders, credit returns, return authorizations, pick tickets, and service requests; file paperwork accordingly.
• Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products. Obtain information on pricing specifications, uses and availability.
• Manage schedules for project by coordinating with outside sales, jobsites, and assigned customers.
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
• Research credits, returns, and late payments as needed.
• Check on back orders and resolve any outstanding issues; solve billing problems and compile data for closing.
• Handle special orders and advanced pricing; assist with pricing and special price lists.
• Develop and grow professional relationships with customers.
• Resolve jobsite issues and customer problems.
