Job summary

Dakota Steel and Trim in Canton, SD is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to grow revenue by managing customer relationships primarily through phone and email from our Canton location.

You will identify prospects, nurture leads, provide quotes, process orders, and coordinate with the Sales and Marketing Manager to support marketing tasks. The role requires strong communication, CRM use, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous sales and customer service experience in building materials is required.
• Experience with metal roofing products is desirable, but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Strong computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via phone and email
• Work with internal departments to meet customers' needs
• Provide quotes and product information to customers
• Receive, process, and verify accuracy of customers' orders
