Job summary

Badgerland Supply, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales professional to provide product knowledge on building materials and related items. You will take orders, build customer relationships, and collaborate with Outside Sales Reps to develop strategic approaches.

The role emphasizes accurate order entry, understanding of pricing and credit terms, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a 4 year degree is preferred.
• Ability to self-manage, take initiative, and be comfortable meeting the public.
• Must be a team player, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Take orders at the sales counter and over the phone.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Enter orders in the company system; tender cash sales.
• Complete sales orders and process cash sales.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers on strategic approaches.
• Overcome objections and quote prices; prepare sales orders/reports.
