Job summary

POOLCORP is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to greet walk-in and phone customers, help them find the right pool supplies, and move orders through the sales process. You will build relationships, handle questions, process orders, and ensure timely delivery or pickup in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of inside sales experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years related inside sales experience preferred.
• Ability to move 100 pounds with a dolly.
• Strong presence and customer facing at a high-volume pace.
• Customer-service oriented and professional.
• Proficient with MS Office programs.
• Ability to handle inventory, product allocations and customer issues.
• Familiar with pool supplies or related products is helpful.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Establishes relationships with customers by assisting walk-in and phone customers, representing the company in a professional manner.
• Processes, pulls and distributes customer products quickly and efficiently.
• Handles questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Accurately performs data entry of sales orders to generate an invoice of products ordered to be picked up or delivered.
• Secures payment of invoice with proper funds or obtain credit authorization in accordance with company policy.
• Evaluates and determines disposition of warranty items handled at the counter, as prescribed by the manufacturer's warranty policy and customer needs.
• Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of vendor’s production and delivery schedules.
• Assists in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.
