Job summary

POOLCORP, a leading distributor of outdoor living products, is seeking an Inside Sales Associate in Colorado. In this role you will assist walk-in and phone customers, answer product questions, process orders, and help ensure smooth sales and pickup experiences while building strong customer relationships.

You will enter sales orders, issue invoices, and handle payments or credits, with daily responsibilities that include basic showroom and warehouse support and occasional RF scanner use.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent customer service attitude and comfortable interacting directly with customers for most of the day.
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to use basic computer systems and MS Office.
• Ability to safely move products weighing up to 100 lbs using equipment such as a dolly.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED, 1+ years of related inside sales experience, Familiarity with pool supplies, parts, chemicals, or pool construction/maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assists walk-in and phone customers with product questions, orders, and service needs.
• Accurately enters sales orders, generates invoices, and processes payments or credit authorizations according to company policy.
• Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs and product availability.
• Evaluates and determines disposition of warranty items handled at the counter, as prescribed by the manufacturer's warranty policy and customer needs.
• Provides an estimated date of delivery to the customer based on knowledge of the vendor’s production and delivery schedules.
• Pulls, stages, and distributes customer orders efficiently, including occasional use of an RF scanner.
• Restocks and replenishes showroom merchandise to maintain product availability and presentation.
• Cross-trains in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties to support overall branch operations.
