Job summary

POOLCORP is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to support customers at the counter and over the phone. You will answer product questions, process orders, and help ensure a smooth sales and pickup experience. You will build relationships with customers while supporting showroom and basic warehouse tasks.

Preferred candidates have 1+ years in inside sales, familiarity with pool supplies, and strong MS Office skills. Local candidates in Charleston, SC are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service attitude and comfortable interacting directly with customers for most of the day.
• Strong computer skills, MS Office proficiency, and ability to use basic computer systems.
• Ability to safely move products up to 100 lbs. using equipment such as a dolly.
• Preferred: 1+ years of inside sales experience and familiarity with pool supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assists walk-in and phone customers with product questions, orders, and service needs.
• Accurately enters sales orders, generates invoices, and processes payments or credit authorizations.
• Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs and product availability.
• Evaluates disposition of warranty items at the counter per policy.
• Provides an estimated delivery date based on vendor schedules.
• Pulls, stages, and distributes customer orders, sometimes using an RF scanner.
• Restocks showroom merchandise and supports warehouse duties as needed.
