Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Customer Development Specialist for the Great Plains (remote US). You will drive inside-sales, manage veterinary practice relationships, and apply CVS selling with CRM tools like Salesforce/Veeva to maximize territory performance.

Educational background includes an Associate degree or HS diploma with equivalent experience; preferred BS/BA or RVT. Travel is modest, and relocation or flexible work options are available.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or HS Diploma with equivalent experience.
• Experience in inside sales or the animal health industry.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with CVS selling model and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage long-term relationships with key veterinary practices to uncover needs and generate recommendations.
• Partner with assigned sales districts to create business plans, nurture leads, and execute strategies in targeted accounts for growth.
• Leverage a multi-channel approach to remotely engage customers with customized content and offers via Veeva CRM.
• Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of Elanco's product portfolio to lead new product launches and brand initiatives.
• Execute all sales objectives and key sales metrics to ensure territory success and customer satisfaction.
