Job summary

Baldwin Supply seeks an Inside Sales Representative to grow and manage accounts, coordinating with Field Sales to drive business development. You will provide pricing, availability, and customer service to ensure high satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include handling orders, quoting terms, maintaining records, and collaborating across departments to meet customer needs and improve profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in Inside Sales or distribution.
• Experience collaborating with Field Sales to execute campaigns.
• Experience implementing incentive plans to improve profitability.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries regarding product selection, orders, pricing and credits/complaints.
• Answer inbound sales calls and emails; assist with counter sales.
• Expedite orders and provide literature or information on request.
• Manage complete order lifecycle and communicate with customers.
• Describe products and help customers choose best solutions.
• Quote prices, terms, availability, delivery dates and process orders.
• Maintain records for accounts with attention to detail.
• Sales order entry and purchasing for price lines.
• Organize and maintain product catalog library.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and carriers.
• Provide technical/product assistance to generate new and repeat sales.
• Place supplier purchase orders within guidelines.
• Analyze customer needs and take appropriate actions.
• Attend product trainings and develop product knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned.
