Job summary

Baldwin Supply Company seeks an experienced outside sales rep to drive revenue by acquiring new customers and managing existing relationships within an assigned territory. You will conduct in-person meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations, frequently traveling to client sites to understand needs, close deals, and meet sales quotas.

Responsibilities include promoting Baldwin’s industrial products, identifying prospects, building client relationships, and coordinating with product

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience in industrial markets.
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage a sales territory.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; customer-facing.
• CRM proficiency and digital communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote Baldwin’s power transmission, conveyor belting, electric motor, automation and industrial supply products.
• Identify target prospects and create strategic plans to convert prospects into customers.
• Build and sustain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Provide best-in-class customer service and technical expertise to promote Baldwin’s value.
• Coordinate with product specialists and inside sales to manage current and new business.
• Maintain relationships with strategic suppliers to Baldwin.
• Participate in company-sponsored sales and technical training sessions.
• Meet with assigned customers at their facilities to promote Baldwin’s value and capabilities.
• Prospect for new customers and sell products best suited for their needs.
