Job summary

PSA International is seeking a sales support professional in Philadelphia to assist with quoting and preparing new logo client proposals for the PSA BDP BDS team. You will engage with origin/destination offices, procurement, and tender management to ensure accurate, timely proposals.

You will liaise with local transportation providers, maintain competitive rate cards, and keep Salesforce up to date for the region. The role includes organizing customer visits and supporting reports for leadership.

Qualifications

• 1 year of business experience in sales support or telemarketing at a freight forwarding company.
• Understanding of Freight Forwarding quotation process.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM/quoting tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with quoting and preparing new client proposals for PSA BDP BDS by engaging with offices and procurement.

Job Description

• Assists with quoting and preparing new logo client proposals for the PSA BDP BDS team by engaging with origin and destination offices, as well as with procurement and tender management
• Liaise with local domestic transportation providers to maintain and improve on vendor relationships and ensure market competitiveness
• Ensure client rate cards are maintained up to date as needed
• Ensure Salesforce is up to date for the country/region
• Manage and maintains sales specific campaigns and projects
• Creates new customer portfolio by identifying new leads via cold calling, using lead generation tools, and research and analysis
• Organize customer visit for the sales team as needed
• Communicate with department heads in regard to customer’s quoting needs
• Conducts good relations with customers and PSA/BDP employees
• Assists with preparation of sales and marketing related reports upon request for PSA BDP BDS or regional leadership and country management
• Assisting with completion of RFI and RFQs as needed
• Work with BDS and Operations to develop Standard Operating Procedures as needed
• Maintain designated target lists for BDS team
• Other Duties as required

Job Requirements
