Job summary

Plansee USA LLC in Franklin, USA, seeks an experienced customer service professional to manage orders, quotes and exports in SAP/PLM. You will collaborate across Sales, R&D, Engineering, and Production to ensure accurate specifications and timely delivery, while maintaining high customer satisfaction through strong communication.

Applicants should have 5+ years in manufacturing customer service, familiarity with SAP/S4, and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years customer service experience in manufacturing.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Excellent organizational and time management.
• Ability to read drawings and understand specs.

• Detail-oriented, multitasker, energetic, forward-thinking.
• Self-motivated with initiative.
• Knowledge of SAP/S4; training provided.
• Background in metals/materials industry a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• US citizenship or permanent resident status; ITAR eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Order and quote entry in SAP: ensure accurate, timely capture of customer orders and specifications.
• Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Engineering, Estimating, Quality, Logistics and Production to align requirements and resolve issues.
• Lead contract reviews to ensure compliance with customer expectations, capabilities, ITAR/DPAS and identify risks.
• Serve as primary contact for customer orders; manage requests and communicate/implement changes via SAP and PLM.
• Assist sales with inquiries and quotation processes; provide timely, accurate responses.
• Build relationships with aerospace/defense customers and address inquiries to maintain high CSI.
• Maintain project records in SAP/PLM; provide status reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
