Job summary

Delta Automation, LLC is seeking a Customer Service/Sales Associate to handle calls and quotes, process orders, and coordinate with vendors in a warehouse and office setting.

You will manage quotes, payments, and delivery dates, while supporting customers and seeking upsell opportunities. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year in sales or customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls from potential customers.
• Reply to email quotes from potential customers.
• Prepare quotes for customers.
• Communicate lead times on products.
• Communicate payment procedures to customers.
• Provide customers with expected delivery dates.
• Source and search for parts with vendors.
• Process customer orders via credit card and/or PO’s.
• Purchase products from vendors when quotes are approved.
• Create POs for purchased products.
• Provide information to vendors for shipments.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products.
• Act as liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or above
• Proven experience in sales or customers service with a minimum of one year of experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
