Job summary

QXO in Springfield, MO is seeking a customer-focused support professional to handle quotes, orders and inquiries, and to help coordinate delivery with operations. This role supports Outside Sales and strengthens customer relationships.

You will follow pricing policies, learn product lines, and communicate clearly with customers, vendors and management. This is an entry-to-mid level role with growth potential and paid training.

Qualifications

• Front-line customer service and sales experience required.
• Experience in construction or building materials is a plus.
• Proficiency with computer systems and order entry.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process price quotes, orders, returns, cancellations, product information and availability, billing inquiries, and corrections.
• Plan and implement telemarketing and prospecting objectives.
• Coordinate delivery and pick up of orders with operations teams.
• Provide support to Outside Sales team.

What you\'ll do:

• Receive and process requests for price quotes, orders, returns, cancellations, product information and availability, billing inquiries, and corrections
• Plan and implement telemarketing and prospecting objectives
• Coordinate delivery and pick up of orders with operations teams
• Provide support to Outside Sales team
• Adhere to pricing guidelines and policies of customer financial services

What you\'ll bring:

• Previous front-line customer service and sales experience
• Industry experience with construction or building materials a plus
• Be computer proficient
• Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and follow-up with customers, vendors, team members, and management
• Eagerness and ability to learn and retain vast amounts of product information
