Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking a seasoned sales professional to develop and maintain key domestic accounts and back up international sales efforts.

The role includes managing customer relationships, quoting, pricing and follow-up while driving new business with existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering, Marketing or Sales with at least eight years of manufacturing experience, strong communication, and proven ability to work across engineering and manufacturing teams to

Qualifications

• The qualified candidate will have a BS in Engineering, Marketing or Sales.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience including manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with Engineering & Manufacturing personnel to achieve customer solutions and sales growth.
• Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent team building and communication skills (departmental and cross-functional).
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Ability to identify new opportunities and convert to sales.

Job Summary

Responsible for the development and maintenance of selected domestic accounts. This position will also be responsible for the backup of other domestic and international sales representatives. This position includes customer relationship management, quoting, pricing and follow up along with business development with new and existing accounts. This position may require domestic travel at times. This position relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
