Job summary

Minuteman Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support homeowners across the South Shore from our Hingham, MA location. You'll follow up on estimates, guide customers through financing options and rebates, and coordinate scheduling with dispatch and the install team.

You don't need HVAC or sales experience to apply; we’ll train you. The role emphasizes listening, helpfulness, and building trust, with a strong focus on customer service and clear communication.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Call, text, and email homeowners who received an estimate but haven't moved forward, for service repairs and system replacements.

• Log every customer interaction in the CRM to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Description

Minuteman Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is a family-owned home services company based in Hingham, MA, serving homeowners across the South Shore. We're hiring an Inside Sales Representative to help homeowners follow through on the repairs and comfort upgrades they've already asked us about.

Key Responsibilities

• Call, text, and email homeowners who received an estimate but haven't moved forward, for both service repairs and full heating and cooling system replacements
• Find out what's holding them back and help solve it, including walking them through financing options and rebates
• Schedule approved jobs and in-home consultations, and hand off cleanly to dispatch and the install team
• Log every customer interaction accurately in our CRM so nothing falls through the cracks

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• No sales or HVAC experience required: we'll teach you the technical side
• You build trust fast, listen more than you talk, and are genuinely helpful rather than pushy
• Goal-driven and motivated by being paid for results, and comfortable hearing "no" and following up
• Excellent phone, text, and written communication, and organized enough to manage dozens of open conversations
• Comfortable on your feet outdoors walking neighborhoods in New England weather, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Customer service, hospitality, retail, or door-to-door experience is a plus
