Job summary

Dormakaba USA, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Support Specialist to proactively process orders from design through production.

You will handle inquiries from customers in a professional, courteous manner and coordinate with other departments to ensure on-time fulfillment. The ideal candidate has a BS in Business Administration or related field and at least 5 years of progressive customer service or sales experience, strong communication and computer skills, and a team-oriented

Qualifications

• BS degree in Business Administration or related field and 5 years progressive experience in customer service/sales strongly preferred.
• Must have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with distributor partners at all levels in a professional manner.
• Technical awareness of industry terminology and standards.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain customer and distributor quotations, sales orders, prices, delivery, mode of shipment and conditions of sale
• Initiate a variety of actions regarding quotations, manufacturing requests, engineering work requests, product delivery, etc.
• Manage all other aspects of quotation and sales order management and processing
• Be a proactive liaison between customers and other company departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of quotations and order fulfillment
• Determine suitable product substitution opportunities
• Coordinate customer/third party activities per terms of the purchase order, including engineering design reviews and customer review
• Provide inside sales support to Regional Sales Manager to achieve increased sales volume
• Contribute to departmental policy and procedure formulation, alteration, deployment and planning.
• Demonstrate safe working behaviors and conforms to all applicable Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

BS degree in Business Administration or related field and 5 years progressive experience in customer service/sales are strongly preferred.
