Job summary

Norstar Trailers, LLC is hiring an Inside Sales Representative in Texas to grow our cattle trailer market. You will log calls, manage quotes, and coordinate shipments while conducting market research and staying knowledgeable about our product offerings.

Therole requires a self-starter with strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and occasional travel to meet dealers and attend trade shows. Base + commission structure is offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in cattle trailer sales.
• Professional demeanor in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Must be punctual with reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Log calls and activities.

• Continuous competitive research and market offerings.
• Knowledge of company products and offerings.
• Monitor sales order and work order progress to ensure delivery dates.
• Coordinate shipments with the shipping department.
• Frequent travel to meet dealerships and prospects.
• Occasional travel to trade shows to represent Norstar products.
• Build dealer relationships and prospect accounts.

Join one of the fastest growing companies in the area as an Inside Sales Representative. We are seeking an outstanding individual that can assist in growing the Company in our upcoming cattle trailer market. This position will require a self-starter and creative planner as well as an organized individual that can follow up with multiple lead sources concurrently. This position offers a base salary with a commission and bonus structure and may require some travel.

Responsibilities:

• Log calls and activities
• Input quotes and confirmations into ERP system
• Continuous competitive research and market offerings
• Knowledge of company products and offerings
• Continuous performance to meet company goals and expectations
• Monitor sales order and work order progress as needed to ensure delivery dates
• Coordinate shipments with the shipping department
• Continuous communication with accounting and production to alert of any concerns
• Frequent travel to meet outside dealerships and prospects
• Occasional travel to trade show to represent Norstar products
• Continuous building of improved dealer relationships
• Account research and prospecting
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED required; College Degree preferred
• 3-5 years experience in cattle trailer sales
• Proven ability to work efficiently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Professional demeanor in person, over the phone, and via email
