Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to sell products and services to current and new clients. The role focuses on increasing sales by developing relationships, pursuing leads, and assisting with system upgrades and transfers of service.

Ideal candidates have high school education and 3+ years in fire sprinkler/fire alarm estimating, with strong communication and deadline-driven performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler/fire alarm estimating.
• Experience initiating contacts with customers and providing follow-up to ensure strong customer service.
• Experience working against deadlines and a good record of completing projects on time.
• Advanced oral and written communication skills allowing effective communication with customers, superintendents, field personnel, and management.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads via cold calling and outbound methods.
• Assist existing clients with system upgrades, system moves, and transfers of service.
• Communicate with customer leads to identify and meet product or service needs.
• Demonstrate product functions and utility to customers based on their needs.
• Maintain communication with customers and resolve post-sale issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Notify existing and previous customers about new products and enhancements.
