Job summary

Plansee USA LLC is seeking a customer service professional to manage orders and quotes in SAP ERP, interfacing with Sales, R&D, Engineering, and Logistics to ensure on-time delivery and accuracy. You will lead contract reviews, manage customer communications, and support pricing activities with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years’ experience, strong communication, reading drawings, and ITAR readiness. A travel component up to 10% and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of customer service experience in manufacturing or similar business environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret customer specifications.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for customer visits and events.
• Authorized to access export-controlled information (ITAR); US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely entry of customer orders in SAP ERP.
• Collaborate across Sales, R&D, Engineering, Estimating, Quality, Logistics, and Production.
• Lead contract reviews to ensure compliance with ITAR, DPAS and customer expectations.
• Serve as primary contact for orders and coordinate changes with internal teams via SAP/PLM.
• Support sales with inquiries and quotations to ensure timely responses.
• Build and maintain relationships with aerospace/defense customers to support CSI targets.
• Maintain project records in SAP/PLM and generate status reports for stakeholders.
