Job summary

Echo Electric, a Sonepar brand, seeks an Inside Sales Representative to nurture existing client relationships and provide outstanding service within Illinois. You will handle product information, quotes, and orders by phone and email, collaborating with logistics to ensure timely fulfillment and growth of market share.

Starting compensation is $21.00-$23.00/hour plus commission, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least two (2) years of sales, electrical or distribution experience and/or product knowledge.
• Commitment to high ethical standards in professional behavior.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Time management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail with problem analysis and resolution.
• Ability to sit and/or stand as needed.
• Ability to use a keyboard to enter data.
• Clear spoken communication to convey information accurately.
• Good hearing and comprehension of speech.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and recommend appropriate electrical products or solutions.
• Provide product information, pricing, and quotes by phone and email.
• Enter, track, bill, and expedite orders including stock transfers when appropriate.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve targets and optimize strategies.
• Coordinate with logistics and other departments to ensure seamless order processing.
• Stay informed on industry trends to better serve customers.
• Attend training to gain product knowledge and applicability.
