Capital Electric in Lynchburg, VA is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to maintain, identify, and grow our customer base while delivering superior service and increasing margin. You will support project quotations, order management, and coordination with diverse customer types including contractors and government entities.

Responsibilities include negotiating pricing, entering orders for multiple jobs, following up on deliveries, and helping the counter with sales.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required and 1–2 years counter experience in electrical distribution preferred.
• Solid customer service background and strong communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Eclipse knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate project quotations.
• Manage project orders and coordinate with contractors, government, commercial and industrial accounts.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors and customers; enter and track orders.
• Follow up on product deliveries and support sales efforts.
• Maintain courteous and professional interactions with customers; multitask and prioritize daily tasks.
