Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in Amarillo, TX is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to price and quote products, support bids, and relay technical information to field sales. You will help manage the full order process and ensure timely fulfillment while adhering to HSE requirements.

The role includes training in the warehouse, yard, and counter, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a focus on customer service, accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in sales support or customer service.
• Experience in Waterworks industry or construction is a plus.
• Experience in a target-driven sales environment preferred.
• Develop knowledge of sales techniques: prospecting, negotiation, persuasion and closing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage detailed pricing proposals and quotations for products and services across various projects.
• Support new sales opportunities by monitoring bids, researching projects, and assisting with prospecting efforts.
• Provide product and technical information to outside sales representatives to generate sales in the utility market segment.
• Develop and maintain customer documentation outlining product information and solution details.
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring effective communication, timely order fulfillment, and resolution of issues.
• Oversee and support the full Order-to-Invoice cycle, ensuring quality standards and corrective actions are managed.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
• Role involves training in the warehouse, yard and counter.
