Job summary

Ferguson in El Paso, Texas, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role starts at $20/hr with experience and features a Monday–Friday schedule, with a Saturday shift every 6 weeks from 8am to 12pm.

You will prepare pricing proposals, support bids, and relay product information to outside sales. The role also involves managing customer documentation and overseeing the full Order-to-Invoice cycle while ensuring safety and compliance with HSE requirements.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a sales support or customer service role.
• Experience in a target-driven sales environment preferred.
• Developing knowledge of sales techniques such as prospecting, negotiation, persuasion and closing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage detailed pricing proposals and quotations for products and services across various projects.
• Support new sales opportunities by monitoring bids, researching projects, and assisting with prospecting efforts.
• Provide product and technical information to outside sales representatives, supporting efforts to generate sales in the utility market segment.
• Develop and maintain customer documentation that outlines product information and solution details.
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring effective communication, timely order fulfillment, and resolution of technical or service-related issues.
• Oversee and support the full Order-to-Invoice cycle, ensuring quality standards are upheld and all corrective actions and field quality reports are managed effectively.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, including Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
