Job summary

POOLCORP in Lakeland, FL is hiring an Inside Sales Associate to support customers at the counter and over the phone. You will answer questions, process orders, enter invoices, and help ensure a smooth sales and pickup experience.

This role emphasizes strong product knowledge, friendly customer service, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Compensation includes hourly pay with performance bonuses and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent customer service attitude and comfortable interacting directly with customers.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
• Ability to safely move products weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED, 1+ years of inside sales experience, Familiarity with pool supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and phone customers with product questions, orders, and service needs.
• Enter sales orders, generate invoices, and process payments or credit approvals.
• Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs and product availability.
• Evaluate and determine disposition of warranty items as per policy.
• Provide estimated delivery dates based on vendor schedules.
• Pull, stage, and distribute customer orders; occasional RF scanner use.
• Restock showroom merchandise to maintain availability and presentation.
• Cross-train in receiving, shipping and warehouse duties.
