Job summary

NorthITe in Roanoke, VA, seeks a results-driven Inside Sales/Account Manager to support U.S. Navy shipbuilding customers. You will source, quote, purchase, and manage orders while delivering responsive service to major primes and sub-tier suppliers.

Must have direct Inside Sales experience with Navy fasteners, be fluent in technical specifications (MIL-S-1222, MIL-DTL-1222), and excel at customer relationships, quoting, and order management.

Qualifications

• Direct Inside Sales experience with U.S. Navy shipbuilding fasteners.
• Experience specifying and selling Mil-Spec and Federal Specification fasteners.
• Working knowledge of military and federal fastener specifications MIL-S-1222 and MIL-DTL-1222.
• Proven experience selling to shipbuilding primes and sub-tier suppliers.
• Strong understanding of customer requirements, technical specs, quoting, orders and CRM.

Responsibilities

• Manage inside sales activities focused on fasteners for U.S. Navy shipbuilding.
• Specify, quote, and sell Mil-Spec and Federal Specification fasteners to Navy customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with primes and sub‑tier suppliers.
• Identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate products.
• Prepare quotations, respond to inquiries, follow up on orders, and manage opportunities.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams on specs, pricing, and delivery.
• Support existing accounts and identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain records of interactions, quotations, and sales activity.
