Qualifications

• Retail sales experience in machinery or turf equipment is required.
• Experience with tractors, lawn/garden equipment or construction equipment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet applications; Salesforce is a plus.
• Ability to analyze sales data and interpret basic reports.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company for machinery sales to walk-in customers, maintaining up-to-date product knowledge.
• Monitor competitive activity and market trends, communicating insights to management.
• Execute a retail sales process: qualify needs, propose solutions, demo equipment, and close.
• Maintain customer information for sales management and follow the defined process.
• Assist with yard display and help prepare and run customer events.
• Conduct new equipment demonstrations and attend sales training events.
• Maintain knowledge of financing options to help customers purchase new or used gear.
• Identify and grow new customer accounts to expand market share.
• Strengthen sales in government agencies, municipalities, and schools.
• Promote dealership products through local shows and industry events.
