Automationtechies in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support its Instrumentation and Automation division. You’ll blend technical knowledge with relationship-building to assist customers and collaborate with outside sales teams.

This full-time, non-exempt role offers quarterly bonuses of $2,000 and potential total compensation in the $78k–$85k range, plus opportunities to grow within a collaborative, customer-focused organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing, or fluid power products.
• Extensive phone-based customer service experience.
• Background in inside sales, purchasing, sourcing, or replenishment preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• High School Diploma or GED; additional education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders via phone, email, and fax.
• Provide pricing, order status updates, and product information.
• Recommend technical specifications and solutions to meet customer needs.
• Support outside sales representatives with timely, accurate information.
• Build strong vendor relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist with light shipping/receiving or counter support where applicable.
